A portfolio from the Flora Graeca of Sibthorp-Smith. In 1784 the British explorer John Sibthorp traveled to Greece accompanied by the botanical painter Ferdinand Bauer. The famous publication ‘Flora Graeca’ (1806-1840) with 1.000 illustrations of plants in unique lithographs was the outcome of the exhibition.
The Museum presents in a specially illustrated portfolio 4 of these plants, in a limited-edition. (50x35cm).
