Herpetology

The Herpetology Hall brings visitors close to Greek amphibians and reptiles, as well as Mediterranean sea turtles.

Info

Three sea turtles are displayed, including the protected species: Leatherback Turtle and Caretta caretta, which continue to nest on Greek beaches.

The amphibian display features frogs, toads, salamanders, and newts, representing the diversity of Greece’s 26 species.

The hall also features the imposing Nile Crocodile and the Saltwater Crocodile, while dinosaurs are represented by a precise 7.16-meter replica of a Triceratops.
